Pendulum spreaders
20-60 HP (15-45 KW)
540 rpm - Cat. 1
At the heart of its efficiency is a corrosion-resistant polyethylene hopper, ensuring precise distribution of fertilizer, seed, salt, and sand. Available in 576 or 820 ft/lbs capacities, the hopper accommodates diverse spreading needs. Whether opting for a full spread, left/right discharge pattern or even band spreading, the Turbo-Hop 301 pendulum spreader guarantees accurate application.
Further enhancing its functionality, the spreader is equipped with a stainless steel opening control disc and a cast iron anti-wear agitator, optimizing performance while extending its lifespan. Thanks to its narrow hopper width, the Turbo-Hop 301 excels in tight spaces, making it an excellent choice for vineyards, nurseries, and confined work areas

WARNING: When using a quick hitch on a PTO driven implement, always ensure there is proper overlap prior to use. If there is not the minimum 6″ overlap, do not use. Contact your dealer to purchase a longer driveline.
Full width spread pattern
BEFCO pendulum spreaders are uniquely designed to deliver precise material distribution, ensuring an optimal spread pattern. With the standard spout mounted, the spreader will spread powdered materials between 17’ and 20’ and granular materials between 39’ and 47′.
This setup is particularly useful in farming applications when trying to maximize the spread width in order to save time.
Half width spread pattern
Securing the standard spout facing down wil reduce the spread swath considerably. In addition using the optional short spout will reduce the spread pattern approximately in half.
With the short spout mounted, the spreader will spread powdered materials between 8.5’ and 10’ and granular materials between 19.5’ and 26′.
The short spout is particularly useful when spreading salt or brine on roads.
Banding spread pattern
Band spreading is when the spreader only distributes material off to the sides and
none in the middle. By unscrewing the spread deflector from the end of the spout, the spreader will spread material only to the sides. In addition, shortening the spout by cutting it will allow to decrease the width of the band. In its original length the spreading spout will leave a band of approximately 23’ and drop the material in rows roughly 3’ wide. The spout can be cut in small increments if the desired width needs to be reduced. At one quarter of its’ original length the spreader spout will leave a band in the middle of approximately 6.5’ and still drop material in rows roughly 3’ wide.
Band spreading is particularly useful when spreading fertilizer in orchards and vineyards, when spreading salt or brine on sidewalks, or when spreading fish food in fish farms.
Left only spread pattern
Although the standard spread deflector can be adjusted to spread only to the left the optional directional attachment improves accuracy when spreading in either direction.
Left only spreading is particularly useful when spreading fertilizer in orchards and vineyards or when spreading fish food in fish farms.
Right only spread pattern
Although the standard spread deflector can be adjusted to spread only to the right, the optional directional attachment improves accuracy when spreading in either direction.
Right only spreading is particularly useful when spreading fertilizer in orchards and vineyards, when spreading salt or brine on sidewalks, or when spreading fish food in fish farms.
