Full-time FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Job description
BEFCO is currently hiring one or more forklift operators for full-time or part-time positions to assist with loading, unloading, and warehouse storage operations at its factory in Rocky Mount NC.
Forklift operators are in charge of unloading shipping containers and placing their content inside the warehouse, cleaning designated areas before using the area for storing parts, assisting in the process of supplying parts to be manufactured to the assembly line and then assist in the process of placing finished product back in the warehouse.
Forklift operators are required to load equipment to be shipped on LTL trucks and unload raw materials delivered by suppliers.
Forklift operators are also responsible for emptying the waste bins around the factory and for keeping all isles swept and clear.
When there are to items to be moved / loaded / unloaded, forklift operators are required to help manufacturing process on the assembly line.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in operating a forklift
- Ability to to lift weights up to 60 lbs.
- Detail oriented, focused on performing repetitive tasks correctly
- Ability to follow instructions given by the production manager

Work schedule
Weekdays 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (30 minute lunch).
Employee must be able to work overtime and Saturdays when needed.
